Author Guidelines & Submission
Manuscripts must follow ICMJE recommendations and Vancouver referencing. Submissions that omit ethics approval or reporting checklists are returned without review.

Submission Steps
- 1Create an author account and start a new submission in the online system.
- 2Upload a blinded manuscript (DOCX) plus a separate title page with author details and ORCID iDs.
- 3Attach the ethics approval letter, trial registration number and reporting-guideline checklist (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA or STARD).
- 4Complete the authorship, funding and conflict-of-interest declarations for every contributor.
- 5Confirm submission — you will receive a manuscript ID and a screening decision within seven days.
Manuscript Checklist
- Title page with ORCID iDs and author contributions
- Blinded main document, double-spaced, line numbers
- Structured abstract with keywords (MeSH terms)
- Ethics review board approval reference number
- Vancouver-style numbered references
- Tables and figures cited in order, ≤ 5 combined
- Similarity report below 18%
- Data availability statement
