Submissions
Complete the checklist below before you submit. Submissions that do not meet these requirements are returned to authors without review.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to confirm compliance with all of the following items.
- 1The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- 2The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
- 3Where available, URLs and DOIs for the references have been provided.
- 4The text is single-spaced, uses a 12-point font, and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points.
- 5The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- 6Ethical approval from the relevant institutional review board is attached, and clinical trials are prospectively registered.
- 7A signed authorship, conflict of interest and funding disclosure form accompanies the manuscript.
Author Guidelines
Manuscripts must follow the MediCo Life Science Journal instructions for authors: structured abstract of up to 250 words, 3–6 keywords (MeSH preferred), Vancouver-style references and reporting-guideline compliance (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, STARD as applicable).
Word limits: original article 3,000 words, review 4,500 words, short communication 1,500 words, case report 1,200 words, letter to the editor 500 words. Tables and figures are limited to five in total for original articles.

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal a licence to publish. All articles appear under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, permitting reuse with proper attribution to the original work and this journal.
By submitting, authors confirm the work is original, all listed authors have approved the submission, and any third-party material is reproduced with permission.
